Guidelines
Flowboard is mostly a private workspace, so these are short. They cover the places where what you do reaches somebody else: shared boards, invitations, calendar feeds and the mail the service sends on your behalf.
Sharing a board
- Invite people who expect to hear from you. An invitation sends them mail with your name on it.
- Give the lowest role that works — a viewer cannot reorganise your week by accident.
- Do not put someone else's personal information on a shared board without their agreement.
- If you are asked to stop inviting somebody, stop.
Content
- Nothing illegal, and nothing that exists to harm or harass a person.
- No malware, exploit code or stolen credentials, including in task notes.
- Treat a shared board like a shared room: your colleagues are reading it.
The assistant
- Use your own provider credentials. Do not put somebody else's key into your account.
- Read what it proposes before you approve it — it is your board that changes.
- Do not use it to generate abuse, spam or anything your provider's own policy forbids.
Being a good guest on the service
- No scraping, credential stuffing, or automated hammering of the API or the planner.
- No probing for vulnerabilities against the live service. If you find one, tell us: email [email protected] with enough detail to reproduce it, give us a reasonable chance to fix it, and do not take other people's data while you look.
- Do not use calendar feeds or digests as a mail relay.
What happens when something goes wrong
Most problems are a misunderstanding and end with an email. Beyond that, and in proportion to what happened: a warning, removal of the offending content, losing a feature, suspension of the account, and — for anything illegal or aimed at hurting people — immediate removal and a report where the law requires one. If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice or write to support; a person reads it.
These guidelines are not a complete list. We may act on behaviour that clearly harms the service or the people using it even if it is not written here word for word.
